Skills Canada invites you to join us for a free Educators Forum which will take place in conjunction with the Skills Canada National Competition

What to expect
The Educators Forum will provide information on the need for strong essential skills in the skilled trades as well as practical and effective educational strategies to support educators, advisors and employment counsellors to address skills gaps for increased success from the classroom to the workplace.
Highlights of the forum will include:
Information on essential skills and the important role they play in skilled trades and technology occupations.
Ice breakers – interactive essential skill activities
Q & A featuring panelists representing the educational system, including administrators, teachers and students
Keynote speaker – Be engaged and motivated by an individual who understands essential skills and how they directly relate to the skills necessary to succeed in trades and technology careers.
Q & A featuring guest panelists, including Skills Canada partners, representing various industry sectors
Interactive audience survey
The Forum promises to be interactive, experiential and inspirational.
